Its self-supporting saddle-hide shell, the first construction of its kind in seating history, is cut low across the back and wrapped over a tubular-steel frame padded in cold-processed polyurethane. The chair combines a tubular-steel internal frame with a five-spoke, black-painted cast-aluminium base, wrapped in black saddle-hide leather over cold-processed flexible polyurethane padding. Seat height adjusts on castors and the backrest and seat recline slightly via a side lever. It comes in one size, with a low backrest that sets the Conference model apart from the high-back President version.
